Vegas Boudoir Blog- What Do You Think of Sydney's Syrn?

Me? I’m loving it! I have to be honest, I didn’t really even know who Sydney Sweeney is until within the last year. Obviously, I’m a bit older, and I don’t watch Euphoria. But, this is a woman is kinda, at least in recent times, a force of nature. She's everywhere!
But why is an older dude talking about Sydney's lingerie?
Initially, what really caught my eye was the photography for her brand. Sydney got Ellen Von Unwerth to photograph her launch campaign. I love Ellen’s photography- she shaped the look of GUESS, having photographed for all the GUESS ads forever and ever. Having Ellen’s photography really is what caught my interest. The photography is stunning!
If you’ve looked through my work over the years, I have always had a GUESS influence. I love grainy black and white photography, and at least 70% of my personal work is B&W. Now, in the past I’ve loved the brand Honey Birdette for lingerie, and still do, but I think Syrn is going to give them a run for their money.
What I truly love as a boudoir photographer is the fact that Sydney has chosen to not just make her brand for the skinny minis or “perfect bodies”. I mean, she makes her bras in 44 sizes (from 30B to 42 DDD) What other luxury lingerie brand makes that many sizes? Sweeney says that her brand reflects her own experiences with poorly fitting undergarments, and wants to truly celebrate diverse women, their identities and moods. I may shoot some models, but my real clients, are REAL women.
What else?
I think having a beautiful lingerie line, fashioned for real women, will only help the Boudoir industry. Women who feel good, and feel they LOOK good in their lingerie, may be more apt to have a Boudoir session created for them. I could be wrong, but I don’t think so.
Just to see who is really reading my blogs- if you show me a receipt for the purchase of a set of Sydney’s Seductress line, I will waive your session fee (a $400 value) and give you a fantastic Boudoir Experience in your new Syrn lingerie. But this offer will end May 30th.
