How do you make clients feel comfortable?”

I’m sure you realize that Boudoir is pretty intimate, so your comfort, our rapport, and professionalism on my part, are a top priority at my studio.

Before your session is even scheduled we take the time to get to know you, your personality, and your needs and desires. We do this first via our “get to know you” survey that asks questions like “What’s most important to you about your session?” and “What is sexy to you?” among several other questions. Then, we schedule a call to determine if we’re the right studio for you. For instance, you may love a certain photographer’s work, but after talking with him or her, you decide your personalities don’t mesh. If that’s the case, don’t book that photographer, because you’re likely to not be as comfortable during that shoot- resulting in photos with lackluster, or even sour expressions.

Once you decide if we’re the right studio, and your schedule an appointment, we’ll immediately send your our Prep and Lingerie Guide to help you prepare, and select outfits that fit your body, your style, and your personality.

On the day-

When you arrive, we’ll show you to your own spacious dressing room, and we’ll go through your outfits together. This way, I can plan which outfit is first, second, etc- also taking your comfort into consideration, as well as your favorites. Generally, we’ll photograph the most “safe” outfit first, as you ease into the session.

Once your outfits are sorted, you’ll be handed over to our makeup artist to help you look like you, but on your best day! She’ll doll you up to your satisfaction, and will stay for the entire session. She’ll be there for touch-ups, and bump ups too. And, will also help with your garters and such, if need be. Think of her as your personal assistant for the day.

What about posing? I have no clue how to pose!

Most of the women I photograph are not used to posing for these types of images. Don’t worry, we’ve got you covered! You’ll be gently guided, and directed into poses that help you look your very best. Flattering your face and figure is my specialty, whether you’re short or tall, skinny or a few extra pounds. And, if you’re having trouble, I’ll even demonstrate the poses for you. Believe me, nothing breaks the ice like seeing me, a chubby, middle aged dude doing these sexy poses. You’ll get a great visual, and an even better laugh! If I can do it, you can too!

Can I bring a friend?

Yes indeed! Some women want to bring a friend, some don’t. That’s up to you. However, I recommend bringing a best friend, rather than a boyfriend or husband. Someone that will absolutely be cheering you on! Frankly, I love it when you bring a friend, because often they become a client soon after you! (wink, wink).
